The Smooth Fitness 5.65 is a very affordable treadmill that really gets the job done for any user. The first feature that really stuck out was the quiet and smooth operation of the mechanical parts treadmill parts. The 2.5HP motor delivered the perfect amount of power and never lost speed even when pushed to max weight capacity. The console on the 5.65 is very easy to use and the 40 workout programs offered a lot of workout variation.

The audio system was also very nicely integrated into this machine. Usually in this price range you will find treadmills with very poor audio systems that can barely be heard over a noisy drive system, not with Smooth’s 5.65. The audio was crystal clear on this unit. Also, the shock system worked well and the incline adjustment was quiet and quick. The folding design was not a hassle and the added transport wheels were a nice touch.

Overall the Smooth Fitness 5.65 treadmill offer excellent value for money. Yes, it is an entry level treadmill but it boasts a build quality and feature set one may find on units with much bigger price tags. We were very impressed with this offering from Smooth Fitness.
