The Proform Performance 1450 treadmill combines a lot of the Proform features into one machine, but the overall build-quality of this machine was lacking. The incline motor was very slow to work and quite noisy. The main treadbelt motor was noisy and the treadbelt felt a bit miss-aligned. The overall workout experience despite these distractions was not terrible, but for $2,499 better options exist.

Overall the Proform Performance 1450 treadmill does offer a decent workout experience with a lot of decent features, but as with other Proform machines many of the features are poorly integrated. For example the 10” touch screen with web-browser is nice, but does not add anything other than an entertainment factor to the workout. Owning a tablet or smart-pone instead paying extra for a treadmill with a web-browser offers much better value for money. Consider Smooth Fitness or True Fitness if you are in the market for a well-priced, high quality treadmill designed for home use.
