The Trailrunner 2.0 treadmill from Proform offers a decent workout experience, but does make some miss-steps. With 30 preset workouts one would assume variety is a top priority; however, of the 30 workouts only about 5-8 of them could be considered significantly different. Having 30 preset workouts is an inflated sales gimmick. The 7” touch screen display is nice, but after perspiring it does not respond very well to touch. This becomes an annoyance during any workout. The drive system is a bit noisy and the cushioning system adjustment is almost pointless as it only makes a notable reduction to impact when set to full cushioning.

Overall the Proform Trailrunner 2.0 treadmill does provide the user with a feature rich workout experience; however, a few miss-steps create unnecessary frustrations and issues that a user paying $2,499 should not have to deal with. We’d recommend looking into other manufactures such as Life Fitness or Precor if you are willing to pay $2,499 and want a high-quality treadmill.
