The T280S is built with the same quality as the higher end Bodyguard units however it has many of the features stripped away. There is a big step down to only 5 preset programs, less cushioning, but it does add 2” to the tread belt width. This treadmill is built very well and operates smoothly. The motor offers plenty of power and the console is simple to use. If you are the type of user who wants a high end machine without bells and whistles then this unit is a great option for you. However, we like to see companies that offer large feature sets that are also easy to use. It seems a bit odd to sacrifice features simply to make the unit easier to operate. Still, there is a quality unit but keep in mind you may not get great value out of this purchase.
